Working Principle: When fire extinguishing is required, connect the foam nozzle and proportioner with a fire hose. The inlet end of the proportioner is connected to the fire hose and supplied with pressurized water. When the pressurized water flows through the proportioner’s nozzle at high speed, a negative pressure is created inside the proportioner chamber. The foam concentrate in the storage tank is drawn into the proportioner through the suction pipe under atmospheric pressure, mixing with the pressurized water at a predetermined ratio to form a foam solution. When the pressurized foam solution passes through the foam nozzle, it draws in air, causing the foam solution to expand and form foam, which is then sprayed to cover the surface of the burning liquid and extinguish the fire. 

PY Series Trolley-Type Foam Fire Extinguishing Device PY4/500-PY8/700 Application Scope: Suitable for extinguishing general Class B fires, such as oil products and grease fires, as well as Class A fires. However, it cannot extinguish water-soluble flammable and combustible liquid fires in Class B, such as alcohols, esters, ethers, ketones, etc. It is also not suitable for electrical equipment fires or Class C and Class D fires.
